Britney Spears' and Beyonce's fans are warring over bee painting - Wonderwall Posted: 26 Jun 2020 11:27 AM PDT They say that art is in the eye of the beholder. That seems to be exactly the issue for Britney Spears' and Beyonce's fan bases. On Instagram earlier this week, Britney shared a picture of a painting that showed a bee with a crown, a photo that unintentionally ended up pitting the Britney Army and the Beyhive against each other. "To all my fans who call me Queen 👑 B," Brit captioned the photo. "I believe this would be more accurate." The pop star also added several bee emojis. The photo didn't sit well with Beyonce's fans, who staunchly believe that the "Lemonade" singer is the only person worthy of that title. ![]() "BEYONCE GISELLE KNOWLES-CARTER is THE ONLY QUEEN B," one person wrote. Others voiced similar stinging opinions. Many, naturally, backed Britney, claiming she is B royalty. For the better part of two days, each fan base was swarming and attacking the other via the comments section of Britney's Instagram. ![]() With fans buzzing, the painter of the picture, a woman named Jenna Paddey, attempted to clear up confusion by admitting that neither woman was the inspiration for the painting. Jenna told TMZ that the illustration was done in 2018, and it was only intended to reflect a play on words for the phrase, "queen bee." She doesn't know how Britney stumbled upon the two-year-old picture, but the pop star did eventually tag Jenna in the Instagram post. While posting a picture of the painting to Instagram in January 2018, Jenna made no reference to either woman in her caption. Seemingly out of the blue, Mickey Rourke has reignited a decades-old feud with Robert De Niro, even threatening to "severely" embarrass the "Raging Bull" actor. ![]() Mickey took to Instagram on Friday to share an expletive-filled rant about Robert, saying he heard that Robert was talking trash about him. In posting a photo of the famed actor, Mickey called Robert a "big f—ing crybaby." ![]() "The Wrestler" actor claimed he heard from a friend that Robert called him a "liar" to the media, although Mickey doesn't indicate who told him this, nor the newspaper which supposedly ran the insult. It's believed that the men had a disagreement about 2019's "The Irishman." "Listen Mr.Tough Guy in the movies, you're the 1st person that ever called me a liar and it was in a newspaper," Mickey wrote. "Let me tell you something, you punk a–, when i see you i swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs,i gonna embarrass you severely 100%." He signed the post, "Mickey Rourke as God is my witness." In the comments section of the post, Mickey didn't back down, writing, "I'll b relocating moving back to NYC in [next] few months this encounter will for sure [happen]." Robert lives in New York City, although he plans to stay in upstate New York because of the coronavirus pandemic. ![]() Last year, Mickey claimed that Robert essentially blocked him from having a role in "The Irishman." "Marty Scorsese wanted to meet me for a movie with Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro," Mickey told the Italian show "Live – Non e la D'Urso." in September 2019. "The casting person told my manager that Robert De Niro said he refused to work with me in a movie." A rep for Robert, though, said Mickey was never considered for any type of role in the Netflix movie. The men worked together in 1987 on "Angel Heart," and it's there that the bad blood began. Mickey alleged that Robert was unkind to him on set. ![]() "It hurt my feelings a little bit 'cause I looked up to him," Mickey said last year. "I don't look up to him no more. I look through him. He don't forget what happened 20 years ago. Because they have a saying, 'I took him to school' before no other actor." Lisa Marie Presley's daughter, Riley Keough, is speaking publicly for the first time since her younger brother's death, making it clear that she's in pain. ![]() "Mornings are the hardest. I forget you're gone. I can't cry because of the fear that I will never stop. A pain that's new to me," she wrote along a series of pictures with her brother, Benjamin Keough, on Saturday morning. Benjamin, 27, died on July 12 in Calabasas, Calif. The coroner ruled it a suicide by gunshot wound. In her tribute to her brother, Riley wrote, "You. There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world." She continued, "I hope you give me strength to endure the giant hole you've left in my heart. I hope you give me the strength to eat. I hope you're cradled in love. I hope you feel my love. I hope you feel god. You are god. I can't believe you've left me. Not you sweet Ben Ben. Anyone but you. I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again." After Ben's death, Lisa's manager, Roger Widynowski, told TMZ, "She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11 year old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life." "Selling Sunset" star Amanza Smith is feeling the burn. The reality TV personality told Page Six she was recently hospitalized for nearly two weeks after sustaining third-degree burns while making churros with her daughter. ![]() The hot grease "just exploded out of the pan," she said, estimating that "about two or three cups" of oil got on her wrist, arm and hand. She joked, "Right now my right arm looks like a mummy." Amanza said the whole incident felt like "something out of an alien movie." "So I went to the burn unit at USC and they did a crazy, painful procedure and I was in bed for like a week," she said. "I had two kids and honestly, it was the most painful thing what they have to do when you have a burn. What they have to do to treat it, it's the most painful thing I've ever felt in my entire life." ![]() The Netflix star said she's on the mend, but she's now in the market for a new favorite dessert. "When they were like working on my arm at the hospital they were trying to distract me from the pain," she said. "They kept saying, 'Were the churros at least good? How did they turn out? Are you gonna keep making churros in the future?' and I was like, 'OK, can somebody please stop saying the word churros?' … I never want to see another churro again." On her Instagram Story, Amanza joked, "There goes my shot at being cast on Top Chef." Teresa Giudice's daughter has gone under the knife. On Friday, Gia Giudice revealed that she recently had rhinoplasty.. otherwise known as a nose job. ![]() "Yes I got a nose job. yes I'm swollen. thank you so much @drtobiasnyc I'm absolutely in love with it," she captioned a photo with her mom that shows off her new nose. "I am an adult now, this has been an insecurity of mine for a while and I've never been happier and so comfortable in my own skin!!" The 19-year-old certainly looks different, but most of her Instagram followers seemed to have positive things to say. "Couldn't be more proud of you… You are beautiful inside and out Love you to infinity and beyond," Teresa commented. On Saturday morning, Gia's dad, Joe Giudice, wrote, "You look beautiful my beautiful princess." The rhinoplasty procedure was completed by Dr. Geoffrey Tobias, who operates out of New Jersey. Fans first noticed the change in her nose via photos on her VSCO account. Interestingly, Teresa told Life & Style recently that she was against her four daughters — Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana — getting plastic surgery so young. "I'm all about plastic surgery but not [for] teenagers," the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star said. "I wouldn't let Gia do anything for a while. I mean, I guess, you know, after your 20s, if you want to do something like after 21 … You got to make sure your body's fully grown. Or I know like, young girls get their noses done and I think, you know, if you got a big nose, you might as well fix it. Why not?" "Mob Wives" star Drita D'Avanzo is begging the judge in her husband's federal gun case to go easy on him, arguing that he's an incredible father and a "family man." ![]() Lee D'Avanzo, was arrested in December 2019 following a raid at their home. He was eventually indicted for possession of firearms and marijuana by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York. He pled guilty to federal gun possession charges in March. With Lee's sentencing set for next week, Drita sent a handwritten letter to the judge to vouch for her husband's character. The letter was obtained by TMZ. "If there is one thing no one can take away from Lee is what an amazing father he has been to our children. He never missed a soccer game and was very involved in our kids school work and any activities they were involved in. He is a family man and is missed!," the reality TV star wrote. "He has a family that is fully supporting him and hoping he comes home soon!" TMZ says that Lee is expected to get anywhere from about three to six years in prison. ![]() When Lee was initially arrested just before Christmas last year, Drita was arrested with him. While executing a search warrant at the couple's New York home. authorities allegedly found two loaded firearms,120 pills of hydrocodone/acetaminophen, 22 Xanax pills and a large amount of marijuana. Page Six reports police also found a scale, implying it was used to weigh the marijuana. Two months after the arrest, charges against Drita were dropped. "I have no time to celebrate because my husband is not home, but I am very happy with the outcome," she told reporters outside the courthouse at the time. "All I'm focusing on right now is the fact that this turned out good." Drita appeared on VH1's "Mob Wives" from 2011 to 2016. Her official bio described her as the wife of Lee, "who federal prosecutors allege is the leader of a Bonanno and Colombo crime family farm team." Nick Cannon has many of his fans concerned after posting several cryptic messages to social media while tagging his location as "heaven." "The Masked Singer" host has felt tremendous backlash after making controversial comments on his podcast earlier this week that many felt were vile and anti-Semitic. Nick was soon fired by ViacomCBS, the owner of MTV, which carries his "Wild 'N Out" show. ![]() Afterward, Nick lashed out, claiming the media company "misused an important moment for us to all grow closer together and learn more about one another." He blasted the decision and contended that ViacomCBS is trying to "make an example of an outspoken black man." He added that the company was on "the wrong side of history" and demanded an apology. Soon, though, Nick issued an apology for his "hurtful and divisive words." That apology, he claims, is now rubbing his supporters the wrong way and he feels like he's in a lose-lose situation. "I hurt an entire community and it pained me to my core, I thought it couldn't get any worse. Then I watched my own community turn on me and call me a sell-out for apologizing," he wrote on Instagram. "Goodnight. Enjoy Earth." His location was tagged as "heaven." On Twitter he added, "Y'all can have this planet. I'm out!" Nick's tweets caused many to wonder if he was going to harm himself. Some encouraged authorities to do a wellness check. "You bring so much light to this dark world. Do not quit," one person said. Others, including some famous faces, also voiced a mixture of concern and support. Fans are also taking no comfort in a Friday morning post from Nick's ex, Mariah Carey, who shared a video of her singing her song "Vanishing." The lyrics state: "You're vanishing, Drifting away." Nick has not returned to social media since his Thursday night posts. Throughout much of 2019, a throng of Britney Spears' fans posted conspiracy theories claiming that the pop star was somehow under duress and being held against her will. The movement became known as #FreeBritney. The movement is now back with a vengeance, as fans are again convinced that Britney is covertly sending signals on Instagram to indicate that she's being held captive. ![]() For the past few weeks, Britney has been extremely active on Instagram, often posting images while wearing similar outfits. She's also posted multiple dancing videos and images of flowers. All these factors have fans concerned, and they've now implored her to send coded messages (believing that she can't outwardly ask for help.) TMZ noted that fans told Britney to "wear black if you need help," and "wear pink if you are in trouble." In a bizarre dancing video posted July 14, Britney wore pink shorts with black polka dots. The comments section of Britney's Instagram have since been flooded by the #FreeBritney battalion. Some fans, including "Jersey Shore" star Snooki, claimed comments were getting deleted, which only further convinced some that Brit needs to somehow be rescued from her current situation. In another video posted that same day, fans felt that Britney spelled out "NO" with her fingers to indicate that she's not okay. She also crossed her arms in an "X" fashion at one point, which the movement interpreted as a cry for help. Some say she's often using the "illuminati eye symbol" in her dances to drive the point home. Fans have asked her to "wink" or "wear black" or give other subtle hints to indicate whether she's in danger. On July 15, she wore black, sending fans into overdrive. Much like they did last year, fans are suggesting that her conservatorship, which has been led by her father Jamie Spears for more than 12 years, is holding her against her will. Last year, the "Toxic" singer fanned the #FreeBritney flames when she told a judge that Jamie committed her to a mental health facility against her will and also forced her to take drugs. As fans demanded answers in the comments section, TMZ reported on Friday that Britney not being held captive, but rather "struggling" with mental illness. The webloid said Brit's medication stopped working and doctors have been trying to find the right combination, but to no avail thus far. Britney, TMZ says, has "not been easy to deal with … she sometimes complains she wants more freedom. Short story — she hasn't been especially stable managing her mental illness." In fact, there are several in Britney's camp who think the conservatorship may never end, which they claim is a good thing. A source close to Britney told TMZ, "These people who are screaming for the conservatorship to end, well if that happened and she hurt herself or died 2 weeks after would these people utter a peep? No way." Further complicating that issue: Britney and her father have had virtually no contact since he was accused of putting his hands on her teenage Sean last August. One month ago, Dina Lohan got engaged to Jesse Nadler, a man she's dated off-and-on for more than half a decade but has never actually met in person. Now, though, the wedding is apparently off. The relationship has hit the skids, too. ![]() "She doesn't want me to go, but I need her to live a healthy life," Jesse told Page Six on Friday. "It really comes down to that. I want a healthy, solid woman as a wife." Jesse told Page Six he was "confused" when Dina recently changed her Facebook status from "engaged" to "in a relationship." Of course, she did this after he sent her a ring in the mail. He also said they planned to tie the knot "the first hour" they saw each other. Now, Jesse is planning for single life. "I'll set up 'my house' in Westhampton Beach. I wish I was setting up 'home' with Dina, but I don't think it's in the cards," he said, adding that Dina needs to make the next move. "The ball is in Dina's court. If she can get us down the court and slam dunk health and positivity, me and Dina can have a nice life together." ![]() The potential split news come just a few days after Dina dished wedding details on her podcast Listen to me, THE OG MAMA D!. "I am going to go off the grid. Lindsay and Ali are going to be my maid of honors because they're both angels and both my boys are going to walk me down the aisle together," she said. "They've both been there and are such amazing men and so kind to their women. I can't even make it up." Dina and Jesse have been off and on for six years but their relationship has been online only. On an early 2019 episode of "Celebrity Big Brother," Dina revealed that she had a boyfriend since the mid-'10s but admitted that their relationship was strictly virtual. She confessed that they'd only ever communicated online and over the phone because he lives in San Francisco, where he cares for his sick mom, while she lives in New York. The unconventional romance prompted many to warn Dina that Jesse could be catfishing her. However, after offering his relationship-sleuthing services via Twitter, "Catfish" creator and star Nev Schulman connected with Jesse and proved that he was indeed real. ![]() The couple split in April 2019 following a blowout fight a few days after Jesse proposed without a ring. He told TMZ at the time that he didn't see them getting back together. However, he later told "ET" they'd been texting and that if Dina offered a sincere apology, he'd reconsider his decision. In April 2020, after Dina and Jesse both got sober, the relationship was back on. Then, in the midst of quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic, Jesse sent a ring. "We will meet way before [the wedding]. We aren't freaks or weirdos or like blind date whatever those shows are. I know him, he knows me," Dina said just days ago. "We have no secrets. I love him for him. That's it. That's what it is." Danica Patrick's romance with Aaron Rodgers has hit a dead end — the couple is "no longer together," the driver's rep told E! News. There'd recently been rumors that they'd called it quits. ![]() The duo began dating more than two years ago, but multiple media outlets pointed out in mid-July that the former race car driver no longer follows the Green Bay Packers quarterback on Instagram. Leading up to the unfollow, they'd been noticeably absent from each other's social media activity — the last time she appeared on his feed was in late March, while he last appeared on her Instagram in early April. Danica was also MIA during a recent charity golf event in which Aaron participated. Aaron and Danica were fresh out of other high-profile romances when they got together in early 2018. He dated actress Olivia Munn for three years before they split in 2017; Danica dated professional racer Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ![]() In 2018, Aaron opened up about Danica during an interview with Artful Living. "We're just two people who enjoy being around each other and love each other," he said. "We're really into each other. So there are going to be posts with each other because we enjoy each other's company a lot. We're really attracted to each other." Earlier this year, Aaron's teammates were pressuring him to propose. A few months earlier, Danica spoke to Jenny McCarthy about the possibility of marrying the future NFL Hall of Famer. "You know what, that's one of those things, you can't be attached to something going a certain way because if you really want something to happen, there's that equal energy of being afraid that it's not going to happen," she explained. "So you just have to let it go and be like, 'Well, am I having fun today?' Yup.' Then life's good.'" She then joked, "I'll probably get proposed to tomorrow now." |
