Sarah Burton the women who worked for 15 years with the great Alexander McQueen presented a collection that no one but a female McQueen can conceive.
Watching the show, Burton took me to McQueen's world, to the place where he is now watching over her and over his label. Burton opened the show with white clothes, everything was spiritual everything that used to be edged and strong at McQueen's shows was toned down and softened, and i think that's the woman touch Burton has. Leaves of black leather, raffia-trimmed brocade, wings of monarch butterflies or mass of feathers, all was there done in a great artistic way. This Designer presented in one show high level skills of craftsmanship in all and every single garment specially those butterflies looks and the raffia dresses with cornstalks and also the hair and make up and the shoes.
A breathtaking show that must be seen to get inspired of for years to come.
