You guys know that I love lipstick, thats just a given; But when lipstick comes wrapped up in gorgeous rose gold packaging, oh my gosh, now thats TRUE love! One things for sure you can always count on Makeup Revolution to bring out a product that makes any beauty girl a little weak at the knees. One of their most recent releases are the new Rose Gold Lipsticks and I have to say I'm already quite obsessed with them.
So far there are five different lipsticks in their Rose Gold collection and I think the colours are rich, and have a luxuriousness to them. All of them, but one are pretty bold, bright and vibrant and the other is a classic everyday nude lip (my favourite). The darkest shade 'Private Members Club' is a dark toned purple that has a slight vampy feel to it, whilst 'Diamond' is your wine stained red shade that has a slight pinkness to it - This one really is such a gorgeous shade. For those days where I'm wanting to feel extra glamorous there is 'Red Carpet' which like the name suggests is a gorgeous vibrant red. Not one for the faint hearted is the super bold bright 'Girls Best Friend' which is your classic Barbie pink shade. And last but not least is my personal favourite 'Cashmere' which is the most stunning everyday nude; If you love that shade of Mac's Honeylove then this is definitely one to get hold of, just think of it as the satin version of it.
Each Rose Gold lipstick has a lovely creamy texture to it and gives that satin finish on your lips. I love how it's not too glossy but makes my lips look hydrated and soft at the same time. As for lasting time, I actually find each one stays put for a pretty long time, which is surprising with a lipstick that is so creamy. The darker shades stain my lips evenly even after the lipsticks worn away.
I like to think of myself as a bit of a lipstick expert seeing as its the one makeup item I'm obsessed with and I can honestly say I'm so impressed with these. They maybe cheap costing only £3.00 each, but they certainly don't lack in quality. I just can't decide what I prefer more the lipstick or the rose gold packaging! I just wish all makeup came wrapped up in Rose Gold, that would be a dream. I really hope Makeup Revolution add to this lipstick collection, I would love to see a few more nudes and some softer shades of pinks as the brights shades may not be to everyones liking.
